Awesome State Park! Excellent amenities, decent cabins and lodgings! Kept incredibly clean and litter free! Fantastic camping grounds with grills and restrooms. I've been coming to this place since the 1970's and I still LOVE it as much now as I did as a kid! Nice golf course too and if you want to go on a horse, you can do that as part of a guided tour!

Love everything in this Place.. Peace and quiet and Fun..... They have a small Zoo and like a Little museum. Also the Lake House is Big and Comfortable. Prices on the lodge area are regular not so expensive. To do Camping Here is The BEST :) love it here and The Golf carts are so much fun 25$ for 4 hours

Highly recommend Sequoyah State Park! The entire staff is super friendly. We stayed at the Seminole RV campground. The Seminole camp host, Leonard, is absolutely the kindest man and the best camp host! The park is beautiful and clean with friendly staff and lots to do. Be sure to research the history of the park while there. Paradise Cove Marina has boat rentals and the Lodge has golf cart rentals. Lots of trails to hike or bike. Visit the Nature Center and The Stables. There is so much to do here and the sunsets on the lake are absolutely beautiful!

Sequoyah State Park is a great place to visit and camp. We've been camping their for years. Started out tent camping and have a go to spot for that right right off the lake and now we've upgraded to an RV and have a campground we frequent. We took out the rv last weekend and camped with some friends, always a good time. My only complaint is that upon leaving Cherokee campground dump station was full/overflowing and we had to travel to another campsite to dump our tanks(deducted 1 star for this)

This is a nice park with some hidden gems. In the very back is a nature preserve. They have an eagle and then various animals that are healing. Ive never been inside as i get there too late but outside is nice. I liked hiking along the river.
