OKC Paw Park and Dog Beach

OKC Paw Park and Dog Beach
North Grand Boulevard and Hefner Parkway

Happiness is watching a dog run and play at the Paw OK Dog Park! Dogs only need to "behave" for the brief time it takes to get off the leash, then the fun begins! The Dog Park has two fenced play areas one for dogs under 30 pounds and the seniors, and one for larger dogs. Water stations, trees, benches, lots of room to run and a pond make it the perfect play area!

Pond is doggie favorite

The Paw Park is bordered on the north by a Duck Pond. The Dog Park's area of the pond has been roped off and a fine-grade gravel beach has been built to give dogs a large area for swimming and playing in the water.

These wag-worthy playgrounds are sure to cure any restless pooch and are fun for owners too. Paw Park rated one of the top 10 in America!

May 2010: Dog Fancy, the world's most widely read dog magazine, has announced its picks for its annual America's Best Dog Parks contest and PAW OK is ranked one of the top 13 in the United States!

Each year, Dog Fancy calls for readers to submit nominations for what they believe to be America's best dog parks. To be considered, parks must have fencing, double gates and free clean-up bags. Parks are then considered based on a list of criteria including: water for dogs and their people, shade, lights, parking availability and accessibility, support organizations and special events, among others.

The PAW PARK Volunteers made this honor possible!

What about the cost?

Admission to the Paw Park is free. Donations will be accepted to ensure the continued success of this beautiful park.
