Since 1969 we have been floating our Guests on the Illinois River in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Rafting on the River is the most popular way to go, with kayaks gaining populatity each year. In the last three years The Bluff has purchased over 150 top of the line boats (Midwest Rafts White Water Rafts and Jackson Riviera Kayaks). As members of the Proffesional Paddle Sports Association we have trained our Bus Drivers and River Guides in the best ways to explain safety and paddling to our Guests. Now with our new website you can find Illinois River levels at Watts, Chewey Bridge, and Tahlequah Bridge and even weather conditions. Our boat choice page, explains all the types of boats we have for Rafting, Canoeing and Kayaking. There is even a video of the Jackson Kayak floating down the river.

We have used Eagle Bluff for a few years and always have a good time. The late night campground is great if you're camping without children and plan on staying up late around the campfire. My only complaint is that their process could be improved for picking up people at the campground to take them to the river. We were told we would be picked up around 9:30, and finally got on a bus at 10:30 after being passed by multiple buses. This has been an issue at other resorts we've used in the past, though, so I still recommend Eagle Bluff over others in the area.

Best resort at the Illinois river. If your looking to float the Illinois river. Come here. Organized, they'll pick you up at your campsite and all. Ice cream truck. Been to 2 different resorts on the river and this by far was the best!!!

Had a great time at Eagle Bluff. Nice amenities and pleasant staff. One of our floats was not properly aired up though and deflated about third way through the trip- this resulted in tight crowding on other rafts. Aside from that, great trip.

I had never done something like that before. The staff was helpful and courteous. We did the short trip. Got out of the boat and swam. Relaxed the the hole trip. I would go back again.

Third annual river trip! WE LOVE IT! One improvement though, more shade trees in the family camping area is all that's missing. We have the best time!!!
