Oklahoma might be a landlocked state, but there are many places around the state where you can find great seafood. If you've got a craving for oysters, look no further. Whether you like them fried, fresh or in stew, here are some of the best places in Oklahoma to find those sweet, savory mollusks!
This annual festival dates back to 1952, when it was held in Manitou. About 25 years ago, it moved to Frederick. Every year, a member of the committee drives to Port Lavaca, Texas, to bring back freshly caught oysters for the fry. They’ve never run out of oysters, but they serve thousands of people each year.
Pearl’s Oyster Bar offers oysters from Mexico. You can get them roasted, raw or fried, as an appetizer or entrée. This restaurant has been offering seafood to Oklahomans for over 30 years. It has a great reputation for a delightful atmosphere, excellent service and food and a modern menu.

You’ll find oysters on the half shell and chargrilled oysters at this pub in the Tulsa area, but for a real treat, go with the Oyster Lobsterfella. It's broiled oysters topped with lobsters, parmesan, spinach, jalapenos and cream cheese.

This fish market sells fresh seafood to take home, but it’s also a restaurant where you can enjoy fresh seafood. It’s been serving Tulsa for over 75 years. You should visit this classic restaurant at least once.
The patio at Doc’s is a great place to enjoy fresh oysters when the weather cooperates. It’s the next best thing to the French Quarter in Oklahoma when you have a Cajun craving. They have an excellent cocktail menu, too.
Come for the brunch menu to enjoy an oyster benedict. The lunch menu features a chicken fried oyster salad and a fried oyster bruschetta. On the dinner menu, find the classic oysters on the half shell.
This fish market and restaurant makes its own breads, prepares the applewood salmon in-house and makes homemade sauces and salads daily. You’ll always find oysters on the half shell on the menu, but you can also take some home with you from the market and prepare them yourself.
